Now that I’ve finshed the one-shot of Goken which was sort of like a pilot I’ve started working on the main series and usually when I start a chapter I make sketches or concept art to demonstrate how everything will look though images below are mainly for chapter 1.

Egyptian mythology is the most interesting to me, greek is overrated. A more detailed landscape of a carnival, detailed backgrounds are the most time consuming part of comics which is why they’re rarely used outside of opening shots especially when you’re a singular person and not a crew of people

I’ve always wanted to my a comic with a carnival/ circus setting it’s a fun environment to draw from. This is sort of concept art for that.
