This old 90s comic from claypool comics that got new omnibus releases in 2018 to 2023, the 1st omnibus collects issues 1-12 created by Peter David(rip), Richard Howell prominent dc and marvel alumni and beautiful art by Amanda Conner, particularly the reason I was interested in this comic. I had stumbled upon this comic and their company by total accident, the fact this series ran for over 80 issues throughout the 90s to the 2000s is very impressive it’s something most comics let alone indie one’s ever achieved during or after that time period, you hear about stuff like Cerebus when alot of that comic’s later issues were just long rambling paragraphs anyway.

This comic would’ve made for a great animated series, I like it, it’s pretty funny if you have a semblance of a sense of humor, they don’t make sexy comics like this anymore in America, unless you count lady death which is still going strong, and ironically the parodies like the dc sandman one which you’d think might be unrecognizable to a new reader who isn’t well versed in vertigo comics since that was so long ago, the comic did get a new show a while back ofc their was the weird race swaps before Neil Gaiman’s loyal subjects turned on him.

Amanda Conners art is really sexy no wonder she went on to eventually draw Power Chest I mean PowerGirl.
